WABD (97.5 FM) is an American radio station licensed to support the Mobile community in Alabama. The station, founded in 1973 as WABB-FM, is owned and managed by Cumulus Media. His studios are located at Dauphin Avenue in Midtown Mobile, and the transmitter is located near the Spanish Fort in Alabama.
This station began broadcasting contemporary hit radio music marked "97-5 WABD" on July 15, 2012. The change from the previous Christian radio format "K-LOVE" was the result of a multi-station contract in which the program formerly on WLVM move to WDLT-FM ( 98.3 FM), urban contemporary adult programs on WDLT-FM move to WABD (now WLVM, 104.1 FM), modern hit radio format on WABD go to WLVM (now WABD, 97.5 FM). On July 16, 2012, FCC changed its legal call sign from WLVM to WABD.
