KESJ (1550 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Located near St. Joseph, Missouri, USA, the station also serves the Kansas City area. The station is owned by Eagle Communications, Inc. and offers programming from ESPN Radio. The 1550 frequency debuted as KKJO in 1947. KKJO launched an FM counterpart in 1960, renamed KUSN in 1966 and KSFT in 1974. Both stations exchanged their area codes in 1988, with KSFT becoming the station AM. He had grown old, but later moved on to a sports discussion with a baseball coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals and Northwest Missouri State University sports.
