KITS (105.3 MHz, Alt 105.3) is a commercial FM radio station in San Francisco. Owned by Entercom, it broadcasts an alternative rock radio format. Studios and offices are located on Battery Street in the San Francisco North Beach area. The KITS transmitter is located on Radio Road, off Mount San Bruno in Daily City. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 15,000 watts from the tower at an altitude of 366 meters (1201 feet) above the average terrain. KITS broadcasts in HD Radio format. Its HD2 subchannel broadcasts the classic alternative rock, known by the previous nickname of the station “Live 105”. The HD3 subchannel carries the Radio Zindagi, a South Asian radio service.
