WJIM (1240 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed in Lansing, Michigan. It is owned by Townsquare Media and broadcasts the radio format. It is also the flagship station of the Michigan Talk Network. Studios and offices are located at Pinetree Road in Lansing. Weekdays start with "The Steve Gruber Show", broadcast in WJIM since March 2012, and also broadcast on other stations throughout the state via the Michigan Talk Network. Gruber was one of the few journalists who conducted a live interview with President Donald J. Trump on election day, November 8, 2016. Another local program heard late in the morning is "The Big Michigan Show with Michael Patrick Shiels." The rest of the schedule consists of nationwide talk show programs such as Rush Limbaugh, Dave Ramsey, Mark Levin, John Batchelor and Red Eye Radio. WJIM is an ABC News Radio network branch. WJIM is a Lansing facility for the Spartan Sports Network at Michigan State University that broadcasts all MSU football and basketball matches.
