KVST is a radio station that broadcasts a licensed country music format to Huntsville, Texas, broadcasting on 99.7 MHz FM. The station is owned by New Wavo Communication Group, Inc. The original KVST signed a contract in Huntsville, Texas, at 103.5, as an Adult Contemporary station called "Star 103.5". The format was short lived and paved the way for the current K-Star country format. The frequency was later changed to 103.7 and then moved south to Willis, Texas, hoping to cover the explosive population around Montgomery County.
