WTSS is a commercial FM radio station in Buffalo, New York. It operates at 102.5 MHz and broadcasts a contemporary adult radio format from the Star 102.5 brand. It is owned and operated by Entercom Communications. The WTSS transmitter is located in Colden, New York on the WTSS tower, while its studios and offices are located on Corporate Parkway in Amherst, New York. Some historians attribute to WTSS the oldest station operating on the VHF band. It first signed in 1934 as a short-wave AM station in the Apex radio band before converting to experimental commercial FM operation and later before the Second World War.
