WNJO (90.3 FM) is a radio station licensed for the city of Toms River, New Jersey, with a transmitter located on the Barnegat Peninsula south of Seaside Park. The station is owned by the New York Public Radio and is a subsidiary of their New Jersey public radio network. The WNJO signal is extremely limited in Ocean County due to interference in the co-channel from WNJZ, which transmits a 6,000-watt signal from the Cape May courthouse, just 25 miles from the border of Ocean County. WNYC took over the management of the stations that make up NJPR, in accordance with the management agreement from July 1, 2011. Previously, WNJO was part of the New Jersey network radio service.
