WMVP is currently the flagship station in Chicago Wolves, a subsidiary of AHL St. Louis Blues from NHL. Until 2016, it was the flagship Chicago Bulls NBA station (now heard at WSCR). WMVP also broadcasts Northwestern Wildcats football and basketball matches whenever the flagship station WGN is unable to broadcast due to other broadcast agreements.
