The WDZZ-FM (92.7 FM, "Z92.7") is a radio station that broadcasts a contemporary adult urban format, licensed to Flint, Michigan, and owned by Cumulus Media. Its studios are located south of the city limits of Flint and its transmitter is north of central Flint. WDZZ was founded by Vernon Merritt in 1979 as the first Flint region FM station to reach African-American audiences, playing a mix of disco and jazz music that eventually evolved into contemporary urban contemporary.
