KVLY (107.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Top 40 (CHR) format. The licensed to Edinburgh, Texas, United States station serves the territory of the Rio Grande Valley. The station is currently owned by Entravision. It shares a studio with its sister stations while the station is located in South Padre Island, Texas. Originally KVLY was a traditional radio station from Soft Adult Contemporary, which played well-known hits from the 1960s, even an evening "love song" program. In recent years, however, KVLY began playing more contemporary hit radio (TOP40). In 2008, KVLY canceled "Love Songs" (aired Sunday through Thursday) in favor of more optimistic music and the new "Top 8 at 8:00". KVLY-FM was classified as a Hot Adult Contemporary radio station with a target audience of adults between 18 and 49. On August 31, 2009, KVLY-FM relocated the Billy Bush show at 10pm for a new local love song program entitled "Heartbeats," airing Mondays to Fridays from 7pm to 10pm.
