It is owned by New York Public Radio (NYPR), which also owns WNYC-AM-FM in New York and WQXR-FM in Newark and its WQXW simulator in Ossining, New York. The network includes the four northernmost radio stations of the former New Jersey Network (NJN). Serves primarily residents of northern New Jersey who are unable to receive a clear signal from the WNYC station.
