KTCU-FM is a radio station in Fort Worth, Texas, broadcast by Texas Christian University. The station has been airing since October 5, 1964 and is broadcast out of TCU studios with 10,000 watts of ERP. KTCU is the Texas Christian University affiliated college radio station in Fort Worth, Texas. On weekdays, the format is mainly Indie Rock, Alternative, EDM and Local Artists. Primarily student-driven, KTCU is an option for students of all English courses who learn all aspects of radio while offering a way to express themselves through music. KTCU has a wide range of award-winning specials, such as The Good Show and Sputnik Radio on Saturdays. From Monday to Friday, KTCU hosts "Local Lunch", a show of DFW artists from noon to 1pm. Sunday's programming includes classical music, the university's Christian church service, and various public interest programming.
