WJOU (90.1 FM, "Praise 90.1 FM") is a non-commercial student-supported student radio station licensed at Huntsville, Alabama, owned and operated by Oakwood University. It serves the Oakwood University community and the Tennessee Valley.
The station began in the early / mid-seventies as a DC power station, operating as WOAK. The FM radio station had WOCG call letters because it was originally licensed by the Federal Communications Commission, but on January 4, 2008. The sign changed to WJOU. This change was made to reflect the name change of Oakwood College to Oakwood University on January 1, 2008.
